NASCAR will not return to Chicago in 2026 but has not ruled out eventually running the street course again in the future.

The streets around Grant Park will be shut down as NASCAR races next to high-rise buildings and past Buckingham Fountain. But it is the last year of the contract with the city of Chicago, and event organizer Julie Giese is eager to keep the momentum going.
